Cinnamon Dizon has the heart of a dancer. She began ballet as a 3 year old at the recommendation of the orthopedist who repaired her misshapen feet. That began a journey that has become a lifelong passion for movement. God’s sovereignty was at work in her life even then! She has trained under such greats as John Magnus, JoAnna Kneeland, Gus Giordano, Tommy Sutton, Lee Theodore, Nicolas Pacana, Alexandre Proia, Momchil Mladenov, Eddie Ares, and others. She was a professional ballerina performing in numerous ballets such as The Nutcracker, Cinderella, Coppelia, Sleeping Beauty, Beauty and the Beast, La Sylphide, and many others. Cinnamon owned her own dance studio for many years and also spent some time on the competition ballroom circuit. She has been directing theater for the past 8 years and had the privilege of directing such great shows as The Wizard of Oz, Honk, Jr., Alice in Wonderland, Narnia, The Pirates of Penzance, The Trumpet of the Swan, Tales from Beatrix Potter, and others. Cinnamon and her husband, Scott, have 4 children and homeschool. She also continues to dance and take class around the city to stay in shape and continue learning in order to be a better teacher for her students.
