Luke 6:31

  1. Iron Rule (Matthew 26:51)

Do unto others BEFORE they do it to you

With that, one of Jesus' companions reached for his sword, drew it out and struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his ear.

  1. Silver Rule (Deuteronomy 19:21)

Do unto others LIKE they do to you

Show no pity: life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.

  1. Golden Rule (Luke 6:31)

Do unto others as YOU would have them do to you.

Do to others as you would have them do to you.

  1. Platinum Rule (Mark 8:22-25)

Do unto others as THEY would have you do to them

They came to Bethsaida, and some people brought a blind man and begged Jesus to touch him. He took the blind man by the hand and led him outside the village. When he had spit on the man’s eyes and put his hands on him, Jesus asked, “Do you see anything?” He looked up and said, “I see people; they look like trees walking around.” Once more Jesus put his hands on the man’s eyes. Then his eyes were opened, his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly.

  1. Titanium Rule (John 13:34)

Do unto others as JESUS has done to you

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
