Jesus said, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you."

What does it really mean to be a disciple? How do we evaluate our progress in our walk with God? A metaphor the Bible uses for the church as a whole is the body, where each believer is a part of the whole, using our gifts and talents to complement those of others.

But the body also provides a metaphor for the balanced growth every believer needs, and it provides a way for us to evaluate ourselves and our progress. We can think of the areas of growth we need as corresponding with our HEAD, HEART, HANDS, and FEET. Each represents a facet of balanced disciple. Our church seeks to help build balanced disciples—those who learn, love, serve and share. One of the best ways to achieve balanced growth is to join a Life Group (also known as Sunday School). We have Life Groups for every age group—from birth throughout life!

Our Life Groups are small groups that meet on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. for Bible study and fellowship. They also serve one another and the community and seek to share the message of Jesus with others. Each Life Group seeks to achieve all four of the acitivites of balanced discipleship--they learn, love, serve, and share!
